Choreography final assignment 2010
1) Dance Compostion in the style of your chosen choreographer - all group members must participate to get credit
2) costumes for all to accompany your dance
3) music appropriate to that of your chosen choreographer's style and taste.
4) 2 page written assignment: the Life of your Choreographer
-History of their life and work; where were they from, when did they work, etc.
-Who were key mentors/teachers in their development as artists
-What was their style and how did it develop? What kinds of things were important to this choreographer (politics, landscapes, abstract, chance, music, etc)
-How has what you've learned above influenced your assignment
